We are a small, state licensed, family-oriented preschool for children ages 2 through 5 serving the La Cañada Community. 

We offer year-round programs with flexible and extended hours.

We opened our doors in 1989 as a ministry of the La Cañada United Methodist Church.  Since our inception, we have provided children with a balanced experience of intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development helps prepare them for future learning. 
It is our philosophy that toddler and preschool-aged children learn best through play. We encourage children to use exploration and creativeness to grow into new ideas and develop their own thoughts and ideas.

Our teachers' are trained in Early Childhood Education and strive to assist the children in building a foundation for school readiness skills.  We have also found this also enables confidence in the students as well.

La Cañada United Methodist Children's Center is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian school that welcomes children of all faiths and ethnic backgrounds.  Our classes consist of low teacher/child ratios in a caring and supportive atmosphere.  We foster play based education with Art, Music, Science, Math and Kid Fit.  Our teachers encourage activity within our extensive natural outdoor play space.
